💚🥾Today, we’re excited to announce the official transfer of property from Cherokee Park Rehabilitation to Louisville Parks and Recreation to finish a new greenway. This milestone opens the door to a vibrant, nature‑filled pathway connecting the Douglass Community Center directly to Cherokee Park.
With the support of Councilman Ben Reno-Weber, Highlands-Douglass Neighborhood Association and the Louisville Olmsted Parks Conservancy we’re proud to steward this new trail that will bring the Highlands-Douglass neighborhood even closer to Cherokee Park.
