🌟 Brave Hearts Family Day at Camp Hi Ho! 🌟

We’re counting down to one of our favorite days of the year — a chance for Brave Hearts families to come together, make memories, and simply enjoy being surrounded by others who understand the pediatric heart journey firsthand.

Join us for a fun-filled day at Camp Hi Ho, where kids and parents alike can explore the outdoors, try new activities, and connect with families walking a similar path. From archery and arts & crafts to farm animals and wide-open spaces, it’s the perfect setting to relax, laugh, and celebrate the strength of our heart warriors.

This event is all about community, joy, and giving families a space to just be together. We can’t wait to see everyone there and share another unforgettable day.

We’re excited to share that The Post is spreading the love this Valentine’s Day by hosting a pizza fundraiser for Norton Children's.

If you’re looking for a delicious way to celebrate, this is the perfect chance to enjoy amazing local pizza and support heart families right here in our community.

Join us on Sunday, February 1 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Norton Children's Hospital. Food and kids activity will be provided.

We will come together to hear updates from the Norton Children's Heart Institute, Norton Children's Hospital Foundation and a presentation from Erin Herstine, MD.

Congratulations to Cardiac Nurse Clinician, Terri Wells, for celebrating 35 years at Norton Children's!

Terri Wells is celebrating 35 years of incredible service. 💜👶

She began her journey in the NICU as a registered nurse applicant while still in nursing school. Just four months later, she graduated, passed her boards, and officially started a career devoted to caring for the tiniest, most vulnerable patients.

After time in labor and delivery caring for high-risk moms and newborns 👩‍🍼, Terri returned to the NICU in 2000, where she developed a passion for caring for babies with congenital heart disease. ❤️ She joined the ECMO team, later becoming the ECMO coordinator in 2008, and helped build both the VAD and adult ECMO programs.

Since 2020, Terri has served as a cardiovascular nurse clinician, working closely with the heart team and cardiothoracic surgeons at Norton Children’s Hospital. 💪💓

Thank you, Terri, for following your calling and dedicating your career to children and families in our care. 🫶🎉
