Our model is simple, partner with anyone who can help to address the issue of homelessness.

In 2016, we identified a community need for women: a safe space for homeless women and children to go during the day to access showers, laundry, case managers and social services. Founders Andrea and Amy, began a needs assessment by meeting with over 16 service providers and nearly 40 homeless women who were living on the streets and sleeping in the shelters. They were met with overwhelming support and so in 2017 Uniting Partners for Women and Children was founded.

We are truly overwhelmed by the generosity of our friends at Texas Roadhouse. ❤️

Their team recently arrived at UP for Women and Children with 150 pre-packed snack packs, 5 cases of water, and an incredible $10,000 donation to support the women and children we serve!!

This generosity means so much more than we can put into words. It helps strengthen our mission, support our programs, and provide care and resources to those who need them most.

To the entire Texas Roadhouse team: thank you for showing up for our community in such a meaningful way. We are deeply grateful for your kindness, generosity, and continued support. ❤️

I can’t believe our UPLift Event will have been one month ago tomorrow.

We are still riding the high from such a meaningful evening spent supporting UP for Women and Children and celebrating the incredible Louisville community that continues to show up for this mission.

Because of the generosity of our sponsors, donors, guests, volunteers, and supporters, UP raised $217,865!

That impact did not end when the evening was over. Every contribution helps UP continue creating a safe, supportive space for women who need it most.

To everyone who attended, donated, sponsored, volunteered, or helped spread the word, thank you. UPLift was a beautiful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together with purpose. 🌷
