🏛️ COMMUNITY OWNERSHIP MATTERS 🏛️

The NAACP Louisville Branch proudly stands with the West Louisville Dream Team in support of securing community ownership of the historic Nia Center.

For years, the Nia Center has served as a vital hub for small business development, community resources, cultural empowerment, and economic opportunity in West Louisville. Today, we have an opportunity to ensure this important community asset remains in the hands of the people it was built to serve.

Our Branch is calling on Louisville Metro Government and Metro Council to close the remaining funding gap needed to finalize the purchase and protect the future of the Nia Center.

As our President, Raymond Burse, stated:

"The Nia Center represents more than a building—it represents access, opportunity, dignity, and the collective determination of our community to shape its own future."
