Flight Club 502 Flight Club 502 is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) for teens ages 13-21.

Founded in 2015, our mission is to teach young people STEM education, leadership and decision-making, entrepreneurship, and patriotism through exposure to all facets of aviation. Flight Club 502 Office Staff:

Week 1, Day 2 of Summer Camp! ✈️

FC502 campers got a unique experience today, touring SDF and even getting the opportunity to stand on a taxiway and watch aircraft take off and land up close. It was an unforgettable day filled with learning, exploration, and plenty of aviation excitement!

Please join us as we celebrate the life and legacy of our friend, mentor, and fellow aviator, Norm Raderer.

Norm was Flight Club 502’s first Treasurer and first Raffle Chair. He helped build the foundation of our raffles and had a vision for helping Flight Club grow into what it is today. We owe so much to his dedication, leadership, and belief in our mission.

Join us on Friday, June 19 at 6:00 PM for a special evening featuring music by the Ladies of Liberty, dinner catered by Mission BBQ, peanut M&M’s in Norm’s honor, and a Missing Man Formation flight (weather permitting).

We welcome all friends, family, and members of the aviation community to attend.

Camp is officially underway at Flight Club 502! ✈️☀️

Yesterday was the first day of Summer Camp, and our campers got a taste of aviation through an introduction to ground school, a hands-on preflight of our Diamond DA20 “Blue Jeans,” and a visit to the Vintage Warbirds hangar to explore aviation history and WWII-era aircraft. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the summer has in store. Blue skies! 💙✈️
