This is Banned Books Week. Did you know that some of the most frequently banned books include Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird, Toni Morrison's The Bluest Eye, Khaled Hosseini's The Kite Runner, and Margaret Atwood's The Handmaid's Tale.
Banned Book Week highlights the value of free and open access to information and brings together the entire book community — librarians, educators, authors, publishers, booksellers, and readers of all types — in shared support of the freedom to seek and to express ideas.

Enjoy the season, dear readers!
