Author Forum programs carefully match an author and interviewer; their hour-long candid conversations are staged at The Kentucky Center in Louisville. The event is filmed and distributed as the series “Great Conversations” on PBS member stations nationwide. Recent guests have included NYT Opinion columnist Maureen Dowd, bestselling writer Amor Towles, and musician Joan Baez. The series was founded

by producer Mary Moss Greenebaum in 1996, and is sponsored by the James Graham Brown Foundation, Bittners, The Owsley Brown II Family, and LDG Development. KAF also produces "Great Podversations" podcast, available on all major podcast apps.
