“Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth.” -Muhammad Ali

Today marks the 10-year anniversary of Muhammad Ali's passing and to honor him the Muhammad Ali Center hosted a city wide day of compassion. The day began with remarks from Lonnie Ali and Mayor Greenberg, and across the county, members of the Louisville community came together to serve the city in different ways.

The Louisville Downtown Partnership team partnered with Mt. Lebanon Missionary Baptist Church along with AmeriCorps and I Would Rather Be Reading (IWRBR) to beautify, add community flower beds, and pick up trash in preparation for the church's summer camp.
