The Younger Woman’s Club of Louisville is partnering with Volunteers of America for a Pajama Drive to bring warmth, dignity, and comfort to individuals and families in need.
New pajamas may seem simple, but they can make a powerful difference, especially during cold nights and uncertain times.
🧸 What to donate: new or gently used pajamas for men, women or children (all sizes welcome)
📍 Where/When: February 8 @11 a.m. RSVP for address - while we are accepting pj donations from anyone, the kick off brunch is a members only event!

Join us for December’s Book club as we discuss Stanley Tucci and his new book, “Taste: My Life Through Food.” It’s a quick and fun read that includes his favorite recipes! RSVP on the website www.YWC-Louisville.org

We will gather at Vincenzo’s in the private chef’s room to enjoy dishes inspired by Tucci’s recipes from his book!

MENU
Insalata Agostino (fresh baby lettuces with gorgonzola cheese and a balsamic vinaigrette)
Linguini Tettrazini (Semolina Linguine tossed with grilled chicken, peppers, and mushrooms in a savory Alfredo sauce)
NOTE: Inspired by Tucci’s Pasta Carbonara mentioned in his book (on page 143 with a very colorfully worded description!)

Drinks will also be available and the bar will be ready to make Tucci’s favorites including a gin or vodka martini (p. 207), a Christmas Cocktail (similar to a cosmo, p. 123) and The Old-Fashioned (p.161). Of course wine/beer and all other cocktails will be available for purchase.

🀄 Mahjong + Younger Woman’s Club = A Perfect Night!

Elisabeth with is bringing the tiles to Drinks & Discourse for a special evening of Mahjong on Sunday, November 10 from 5:00–8:30 PM at The Woman’s Club of Louisville - 1320 S. Fourth Street.

✨ Mahjong for all skill levels!

Elisabeth will teach a Mahjong 101 lesson so you can learn the basics and start playing with confidence. Whether you’re brand new or a seasoned player, come ready for fun, laughter, and a little friendly competition.

🎟️ Tickets: $50 per person
Includes your beginner lesson and everything you need to play (experienced players, bring your NMJL card!).
