ST. JOE'S PICNIC TIME!
As I am sure most of you have seen, St. Joe's picnic is right around the corner. If you knew that, then you knew this post was coming. Star Duck Charities (www.starduckcharities.org) is looking for some volunteers to work the duck pond. If you've ever done it before, you will do it again. If you've never done it before, you have no idea what you're missing. It really is one of the most fun days of the year. All the smiles you can handle and all the children you could ever possible want to yell at.
The specifics are simple, show up for a couple of hours, have a beer or three, work the ponds/the wheel/plinko, golf, yell at children, give the kids prizes, and watch the smiles roll in. All that and you get to help my charity and the residents of St. Joe's. You really cannot ask for a better Saturday. If you've never worked before, ask someone who has. If you have worked before, tell everyone how much fun you had.
When: August 10th, 12PM-12AM (or as the sign out front says... double question mark!!!)
Where: the duck pond at St. Joe's Children's Home
What: two hours (or as long as you'd like to stay) of your time
Why: for the kids!!!
How: reply to this post with a time you'd like to volunteer. We generally like to get two hour blocks, but if you cant do two, come anyway and stay as long as you can.
If you are looking for a specific time, the earlier you reply the better your chances. We will generally take anyone at anytime, but we do get some blocks that fill up pretty quickly and sometimes need to move people around.
If you can think of anyone else, spouse, friends, family, not on this email, feel free to invite them as well.
