Little Girl Writes Thank You Letter to Dan + Shay.

Kosair Kid Addi loves to dance and jump on her trampoline. She wrote a letter to Country Music superstars Dan and Shay to thank them for helping kids like her when they perform at Kosair Live on Saturday, July 18, at the KFC Yum! Center.

✨Once upon a time, Kosair Kid princesses from across the land gathered at The Kentucky Castle for an enchanting afternoon of tea, dress twirling, and story time with their favorite Disney princesses.

👑It was a day straight out of a fairytale!

The Kosair Kid princesses enjoyed magical makeovers before their tea party at The Kentucky Castle. Thanks to their Fairy Godmother Elise each little girl received a Disney princess dress, and the University of Kentucky Dance Team made sure their hair, nails, and makeup were fit for royalty. Thank you to everyone who made this day so special for our Kosair Kid Princesses!

Kosair for Kids delivered on the promise to help Trooper Island Camp, Inc. campers get back on the road. Trooper Washer picked up the check covering the remaining repairs to the camp bus that broke down this week. We’re standing together so kids can experience joy this summer. Your gifts make it possible to help children live life to the fullest.

Congratulations to our little Kosair Kid graduates! We’re so proud of each of each of you and hope you enjoy summer break to the fullest.

🎓Caden graduated from preschool and won the friendship award. He’s looking forward to playing with his friends this summer and starting kindergarten next school year.
🎓Zuri graduated from preschool, and she loves her teacher Ms. Shannon Gregory McGaughey, who her mom says was instrumental in her growth. Zuri can’t wait to drive around in her Disney Princess Jeep this summer and is looking forward to kindergarten.
🎓James graduated from preschool and has already kicked off a fun start to summer. He’s been enjoying swimming in the pool and playing outside with his friends.
🎓Maddy graduated from kindergarten, gaining lots of knowledge and many new experiences. She is excited begin gymnastics this summer.

UPDATE: THANK YOU!!! Y'all are incredible! Within an hour, the bus repair has been paid for with the amazing generosity of Max Parrish of Glen's Automotive & Towing and Kosair for Kids! I cannot express enough gratitude! A big thank you also to each of you who commented, liked and shared this post to help spread the word!

We will greatly continue accepting donations for camp for anyone interested in supporting this amazing cause. Every dollar truly goes to the kids and we greatly appreciate all of the support to make this camp happen!

‼ HELP NEEDED: URGENT REQUEST TO RAISE $2500 FOR TROOPER ISLAND BUS REPAIR ‼

This is our Trooper Island Camp, Inc. bus that takes our kids from all around the state to our camp on Dale Hollow Lake each week. Our Post 1 area kids are set to go to camp NEXT WEEK, but the bus is in need of some urgent maintenance.

After today's trip to get this week's kids to the island, the bus broke down, with repair costs estimated at $2500. We are hopeful that repairs should be done this week, but we could use a little help raising funds to cover the cost.

Cash or checks (made out to Trooper Island Camp) can be brought to KSP Post 1, or give me a call at (270)856-3721 and I will happily come pick up any donations within the Post 1 area. Donations can also be made at https://trooper-island.square.site/ Help us get our kids to the island next week! *We promise, we will get the kids to the island either way, but we would greatly appreciate some help in covering these unexpected repair costs.*

We will also happily accept donations of 12oz sports drinks, bottled water, individually packaged snacks and sunscreen this week in preparation for next week's trip!

Kosair Kid Emmy’s dad may be her #1 hero, but golfer Tommy Fleetwood has become a close second. Kosair for Kids treated Emmy and her dad, Mike, to a once-in-a-lifetime trip to the TGL Golf championship match. Emmy served as a ball kid, helping players during warmups. That’s when Tommy Fleetwood created a memory Emmy will never forget. Thank you, Tommy, and congratulations to your LAGC for winning the 2026 SoFi Cup!
