"A new ProPublica analysis has revealed that deaths from ectopic pregnancy in the United States have nearly doubled, from about 100 between 2014 and 2019 to almost 200 between 2020 and 2025. The increase occurred nationwide, but the climb was much steeper in states with strict abortion bans."

An ectopic pregnancy is not supposed to be a death sentence.

Attorney General Todd Blanche has moved slowly in abortion pill litigation and department officials have told advocates to wait until after the election.
