Growing Louisville Green

Growing Louisville Green Gathering of like minded individuals intent on changing and improving the environmental practices of the city of Louisville, KY.

We plan on organizing future projects concerning green building, maintaining, gathering, and reporting trail conditions, restoring ecosystems, invasive species identification & removal, assisting with public ecological & environmental events, promoting envionmental awareness by creating & passing out brochures, informative packets, and promoting local green businesses, and leading community clean

ups in the metro area. History

We have worked with Living Lands & Water, organizing & implementing X Stream Clean Up for Fort Duffield in West Point, KY. Organized and recruited a group of volunteers to clean up Frederick Law Olmsted's Shawnee Park for Louisville's Annual Brightside's Community-Wide Cleanup. In 2013, we partnered with Brightsides' Community Clean up to clean up Portland Wharf Park.
