If you’ve been to a Barren Heights family retreat, you’ve experienced one of our favorite traditions—bonfire and s’mores!

This tradition is even more special when the air is crisp, the leaves are turning, and the sun sets a little earlier. This past weekend’s Retreat P bonfire was one of those special nights! 🍂🔥🍪

Our Gala is Just Over a Month Away. Do You Have Tickets?

Join us at Woodhaven Country Club on November 7th to see and experience the impact Barren Heights has been making on special needs families for more than 20 years—then join us in continuing our mission next year and beyond!

Our Gala is our largest annual fundraiser that sets us up to host free respite retreats and community events for special needs families all year long.

Your participation means a family who has a child with a disability can experience a free weekend getaway at our beautiful Retreat Center. Or a tired mom and dad will get a refreshing date night just before the rush of the holidays kick in. Your support means a child will be seen and celebrated for who they are, not what they can or can’t do.

Your presence at our Gala means someone’s story will be heard and the impact they felt shared. It’s more than just a night out. It’s a chance to make a real difference in someone’s life!
