Thank you, Abbi!
After a lifetime of love and service, today is the day Barren Heights says farewell and see you soon to our leader, encourager, coworker, and dear friend, Abbi Rose. We are filled with sorrow to say goodbye but also with immense hope for what the Lord has in store for Abbi as she moves forward in His plan for her life.
She has been with Barren Heights since its formation as a thought in her parents’ mind way back when and through all of its changes, struggles, and celebrations. Her dedication to our mission has touched countless lives and families over the past 22 years and even more so since she took the position of Executive Director eight years ago. She and her family have been and will continue to be an integral part of the fabric of Barren Heights and how we serve families of children with disabilities.
Over the past few weeks, we've been collecting heartfelt videos from our community to give Abbi a proper farewell. Please join us in wishing Abbi well in the comments, tell her how much she has meant to you and your family, and pray for her as she embarks on this new chapter. We are excited for you, Abbi, and look forward to hearing all about your next adventure. Thank you, Abbi!
