After We “Mattered” is more than a gathering. It’s a space to reflect, reconnect, and reimagine what healing looks like in our community. Together, we’ll honor our stories, reclaim our collective power, and explore how we continue showing up for one another through Sankofa, healing, and community care. 🌿

Join Play Cousins Collective for an afternoon of reflection, connection, and imagining what comes next together.

The spotlight may have moved, but our community is still here. We’re still healing, still growing, and still building together. 💚

Your cousins are always down for a good time! Thanks again to WaterfrontParkLou for having us 🧡

We were able to connect families to different resources like our Ages and Stages program or Homeschool Co-Op while also leaving space for a break during such festive time at our Kids Corner. 😊 Oh, and let’s not forget our dance break!

We are a village and we’re always looking for members. 📲 Click the link in our bio and see where you best fit

Science, curiosity, and a little bit of magic! Our homeschool kiddos got to explore some hands-on science by blowing up their very own balloons with NO AIR! 😮

How, you ask? Baking soda + vinegar = a whole lot of learning and a little bubbly reaction! 🫧👩🏽‍🔬

On Sunday, Play Cousins Collective had the opportunity to sit down with Fari from Olmsted Parks for our Chickasaw listening session. We learned that the process has already begun, but that doesn’t mean our ideas stop here! 🗣️✨

Fari listened to what our community has been envisioning and took our thoughts, ideas, and hopes back to her team. This is what community looks like, making sure our voices are heard and our ideas have a place in the process. The work is already in motion, and we’re excited to see what’s next!

📣 Want to keep the conversation going? Join the public meeting on October 29th! Your voice matters, and there’s still room for our community to help shape what’s ahead.
