CASA of the River Region

CASA of the River Region CASA of the River Region trains volunteers to be mentors/advocates for vulnerable children.

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of the River Region supports and promotes court-appointed volunteer advocacy for abused and neglected children so that they can thrive in safe, permanent homes. CASA recruits and trains community volunteers to advocate for the best interests of children. CASA's ultimate vision is to pair a trained volunteer with every abused and/or neglected child who needs

one. CASA volunteers give vulnerable children a voice in Family Court and with supporting social service agencies. CASA serves six counties: Jefferson, Oldham, Shelby, Spencer, Trimble and Henry. CASA volunteers must be 21+ years of age, pass multiple background checks and complete 30 hours of in-classroom training.

Just 3 Weeks Until Give for Good Louisville!

This year, your gift to CASA of the River Region will have double the impact thanks to a generous $12,500 matching gift!

That means every dollar you give to CASA on September 10 can go twice as far in helping recruit, train, and support Volunteer Advocates who stand alongside children who have experienced abuse and neglect.

Today is National Nonprofit Day.
Nonprofits don’t do this work alone.

At CASA of the River Region, we’re celebrating the people behind our mission: our CASA Volunteer Advocates, donors, community partners, supporters, board, and staff.

Every day, you help make it possible for children who have experienced abuse and neglect to have a voice and a consistent advocate by their side.

Your time matters. Your support matters. Your advocacy matters.

Thank you for helping change a child’s story and create a future where every child can thrive.

A huge thank you to our incredible community for helping make back-to-school brighter for more than 146 CASA children!

Because of the generosity and hard work of many, our children are heading into the new school year with backpacks, school supplies, and the support they need to feel prepared, confident, and ready to shine.

Every donation, partnership, and act of support makes a difference for children who have already faced more than most. Thank you for showing up for CASA kids and helping them start the school year with a little more confidence and a lot more support.
