YMCA Camp Kitaki

Yesterday saw the end of our 10th and final session for Summer 2026. We’re so thankful for the time we shared together in so many memories, like climbing the Tango Tower, canoeing at the lake, performing at campfire, and so much more.

We loved seeing all the ways our campers, SKs and staff grew- whether it was navigating together through a teambuilding challenge, practicing our conflict resolution skills to build a more empathetic community, or sharing some giggles and maybe a few dreams in the turrets of The Fort, each person who called Camp Kitaki home this summer left a little magic behind. We are so very blessed to call you friends.

Until we meet again in the land of the high hills, Summer 2026 is closed.

It's a wonderful Wednesday here at camp! Our club activities have been going great, as well as riding horses and all the other fun things we get up to around camp! Tonight is the ALL CAMP DANCE and we could not be more excited!

We got a little liquid sunshine during Free Play, but that didn’t spoil our fun!

Board games, card games (of the jumbo and average size), mega-building and more kept us engaged while the storm passed.

Now it’s enchiladas for dinner and on with our evening!

It's the end of the first full day of the last week of camp and we could not be having a better time! Here are all of our lovely cabin groups that make up camp this week and who we got to see make friends, try new things, and learn about themselves today!

Here we are at the last day of Session 9. We are sad to see the week end, but so happy we got to spend it making so many new friends and creating such magical memories! We're not done yet though, we still have another campfire tonight and so many special Friday activities! Pick up tomorrow will be from start at 9:45 and start wrapping up around 10:45.

What a wonderful Wednesday! We had so much fun at the lake, and the climbing tower, and at pool, and everywhere else! It was a great day and we're ending it soon with the ALL CAMP DANCE.
