YMCA Camp Kitaki The YMCA Camp Kitaki is a resident summer camp located 1/2 way between Lincoln and Omaha, Nebraska. We serve campers age 7-17 during the summer.

The weather couldn’t have been nicer for a cookout!

Elm Cabin wanted to show off the first fire of the season in the newly renovated fire pits in East Camp- they were a huge success, and we’re so grateful!

Bats also wanted to show off their fire- and we couldn’t resist.

It was another beautiful day at camp! The breeze kept things comfortable, and we took advantage of pool time and water games to keep cool!

After chicken alfredo for dinner, campers visited the camp store and we learned that hacky sack is back in style! Navigators headed to the lake for their evening activities- they had a blast!

All campers are back at their cabins and getting ready for bed after our last day together ended with a campfire.

We’ll continue to monitor the storms in our area, and look forward to wrapping up our week together at Morning Inspiration tomorrow before breakfast and check-out!

The Dance last night was a hoot and a half, and all of our clubs activities have been going swell! We had another smaller dance party in the rain because weather does not dictate fun at camp! Tomorrow is our last full day for this week, and it's amazing how fast the week has flown by. We're excited to finish out on a high note!

🌳🌱☀️We have had a beautiful first few days of camp and we are all excited for the first CAMP KITAKI DANCE of the summer tonight! Kids are melded as groups and growing as individuals and having a boat load of fun as they go.
