With around 60 members, Light of Hope Presbyterian Church in Marietta, GA, proves that small congregations can make BIG impact — and that's exactly why we're spotlighting them this !

Their Care and Compassion team, chaired by Cheryl Waters, leads their mission work both locally and globally. Each year, the team makes a generous gift through the Giving Catalog, choosing items like sewing machines, community gardens, irrigation tools and livestock, all to support Presbyterian mission partnerships.

This team embraces God's call to build a global community and believes doing so is crucial to our understanding of the ends of the earth. They feel they are called to not only enjoy God’s love, but to share that love, to serve and to be compassionate messengers of hope.

It’s in that spirit that their generosity doesn’t stop at the Giving Catalog. Closer to home, they prepare monthly meals for vulnerable community members, and assemble Blessing Bags for the unhoused, continuously sharing hope which we are all called to do.

We're grateful for Light of Hope's generous spirits and their compassion in action, both around the corner and around the world!

This National Nonprofit Day, we're celebrating the global impact that your generosity creates.

Together, a simple gift becomes a sustainable change. A Family of Chickens provides food security and an income stream for a family struggling through hard times. A Water Catchment System restores health, hygiene and dignity to a community. Supplies for Displaced Students make it possible for children to pursue their education during upheaval.

None of that work happens without donors like you. Your generosity empowers our partnerships and initiatives, turning gifts into sustainable impact around the world in the name of Jesus Christ.

Today — and every day — we want to thank you for being part of that work and encourage you to continue to GIVE with a PURPOSE whenever possible.

This , we're hopping with gratitude for the children of Indian Hill Church in Cincinnati, OH!

Each year, this congregation of 273 members turns its Easter Egg Hunt into a giving opportunity. Kids search and find plastic coins tucked inside eggs, then use the coins to cast votes for the different categories in the Giving Catalog.

This April, that voting turned into a gift of two Rabbit Hutches, three Most Immediate Need items, three Educate a Child items and two Families of Chickens, which all support Presbyterian mission partnerships here and around the globe. It's a tradition the congregation has embraced before — giving in honor of its children for similar items back in 2025.

We're grateful for Indian Hill's youngest members and the joy they bring to giving! Drop a 🐰 in the comments to celebrate with them.

This , let's make some noise for the youth of Mendenhall Presbyterian Church in East Grand Forks, MN!

This congregation of nearly 80 members may be small, but their youngest members show up big all year long, volunteering their time and talents and helping with fundraisers whenever possible.

What’s one of their favorite fundraisers? A monthly Noisy Offering!

On the last Sunday of each month, the youth pass buckets through the pews, collecting loose change. Then, at the end of the Sunday school year, they calculate the total and vote together on items to support through the Giving Catalog.

Last July, their first Noisy Offering was enough to support Presbyterian mission partnerships through six Farming Tools, six Sewing Machines, three Hygiene Kits, three School Supplies for Displaced Students, a Fishing Kit, five Families of Chickens, a pair of Goats, a Piglet and a Jerry Can.

But the noise didn’t end there! This May, they raised enough support for a Community Garden, a Rainwater Catchment System and three more Farming Tools.

We’re grateful for the joyful generosity of Mendenhall’s youth, and the proof that even loose change can make global impact. Help us cheer them on by dropping a 🐓 in the comments!

🎓 Celebrating College & Young Adult Sunday!

Today we highlight the college students and young adults in our Church and celebrate all the ways God is at work in their lives. This includes Young Adult Volunteers (YAVs) like Luke Kellet.

Luke headed to New Orleans to serve just one year as a YAV, but something about the city and its people made him stay.

Now Luke spends his days at Okra Abbey Community Giving Garden where he tends crops, harvests produce and helps cook weekly community meals. What began as a year of service has blossomed into a calling, and a reminder that ending hunger is less about charity and more about showing up, digging in and breaking bread together.

We’re so grateful for all the young adults in our Church community, and we invite you to support YAVs like Luke with contributions through the Giving Catalog.

This , we’re celebrating Fourth Presbyterian Church in Chicago, where even the youngest members continue to learn about generosity.

Each week, when their children’s chapel offering is received, associate pastor Matt Helms shares how gifts are used and how generosity can help other children around the world. When it’s time to give their gifts collectively, the children vote on what items to support through the Giving Catalog.

Last March, the kids contributed enough to support gifts that will help end hunger, support education, provide clean water and sustain communities.

We're grateful for the children and all of the church community leaders who support them at Fourth Presbyterian and hope you'll join us in sharing your thanks today.

When a water shortage hit this Somalian farming town, the community needed a hand. Thanks in part to generous support of Presbyterian mission through the Giving Catalog, PC(USA) disaster response ministries were able to provide families with goats and cattle, opening a new source of income and food.

One gift can touch many lives. Together, this is the impact we can make.

Sixty years of faith, fellowship and generosity, and King's Grant Presbyterian Church in Virginia Beach, VA, is still doing amazing ministry. That’s why we’re so proud to shine the spotlight on their faith community today.

The Eve Circle, led by Pam Ponce, recently made a gift through the Presbyterian Giving Catalog of three Sewing Machines, a beautifully fitting act of generosity for a group of women who clearly know the power of stitching people together.

As a Matthew 25 congregation, King's Grant lives out its commitment to putting faith into action, and the Eve Circle's gift is a perfect example of that calling.

We're grateful for King's Grant Presbyterian and hope you'll help us celebrate them by dropping a 💙 in the comments!
