Compatriots, today one of our members has reached a milestone that many of us will not be able to attain. Dr. William “Bill” Gist joined the NSSAR on this day May 19, 1976 - 50 years ago today!! Bill has had a long and distinguished history in the SAR having served local, state and national all the way to President General of NSSAR 1995 - 96. Three cheers for Bill, hip, hip HUZZAH, hip, hip HUZZAH, hip, hip HUZZAH!!

SAR Members from Louisville Thruston and Gov. Issac Shelby Chapters turned out for a lunch gathering at Jade Palace Chinese Restaurant today. Twenty-one in all, it was a FUN time! Thanks to all who participated will definitely do this again!!
