Shout out to Western high school for their incredibly successful spring blood drive. This is what Interact is all about, the service these young people and they’re amazing Advisor Mika Powell, showed in frontloading this drive is what made it successful. Our Interact clubs truly demonstrated service above self over the holidays as Iroquois spent multiple periods making holiday cards for the less fortunate and Western high school created a huge food bank to serve their local communities. Special props to Mika Powell at Western and James Gibson at Iroquois for mentoring these youth toward an attitude of service. And happy new year to everyone!
