Guys, mark your calendars for November 6!

We're getting together at Bowman Farm for our next Men's Connection Night. It'll be a laid-back evening with good food, time to catch up with friends, and a chance to get to know some other guys at Sojourn East.

Whether you've been around for years or are still getting connected, we'd love to see you there. And feel free to bring a friend!

Good News Training is designed to help you grow in sharing the gospel with the friends, family, coworkers, and neighbors already in your life. Join Pastor Moe Clark for a three-part training exploring both the theology and practice of evangelism, with practical help for everyday conversations about Jesus.

A few days away with the people we get to serve alongside.

Our staff spent time in Stanford, Kentucky, this week sharing meals, resting, laughing, and enjoying time together. We also had the joy of celebrating Kevin’s 15 years of faithful ministry at Sojourn East!

We’re grateful for this team and for the church family we get to love and serve. Thank you for praying for and encouraging our staff!

One of our favorite things to celebrate as a church family: new life in Jesus.

Baptism Sunday is November 8! We’re looking forward to hearing stories of God’s grace and celebrating with those publicly professing their faith in Christ.

A little look back at our women’s retreat at Clifty Falls! 🍂

It was a weekend of shared meals, worship, good conversations, and time to slow down together. Through Kelsey Hency’s teaching, we reflected on God’s faithfulness along the ordinary roads, through seasons of sorrow, and in moments of celebration. Whatever road we’re walking, we have a Shepherd who is with us, and a church family to walk alongside us.

Thank you to everyone who helped make space for us to rest, connect, and grow together!

We’re throwing a party for the neighborhood—and we need more trunks! 🎃

Trunk or Treat is October 25 from 4-6pm, and hosting a trunk is a fun, simple way to help our neighbors feel welcome at Sojourn East. Grab your community group, team up with friends, or make it a family project: decorate your trunk, pass out candy, and meet the families who stop by!

We also need volunteers to help with activities throughout the afternoon. Serve for one shift and enjoy the other half with your family!

Middle and high school students, grab your friends and join us Sunday, November 1 for one of our biggest trips of the fall—a full day of roller coasters, food, fun, and making memories together.

🎢 Sunday, November 1
🚌 Meet at Sojourn East at 7:45am
🎟 $90 per student
🍔 Transportation, park admission + all-day dining included

Parents can come along as chaperones, too!

A little glimpse of the fun from Trunk or Treats past! 🎃🍬

On October 25, we’re doing it all again—and you’re invited. Join us from 4–6 pm for decorated trunks and plenty of candy, bounce houses, games, face painting, a petting zoo, s’mores, and fall food and drinks.

Everything is completely free, costumes are welcome, and no registration is required. Bring your family, invite your neighbors, and come spend the afternoon with us!

Young adults—come hang out with us next week! 🔥

On October 16, we’re gathering at Sojourn East for a relaxed fall night around the fire with s’mores and plenty of time to connect.

Young Adult Fellowship is for single and married adults in their 20s and early-to-mid 30s, and whether you’ve been around Sojourn East for years or are still finding your people, you’re invited.
