To build a compassionate global community for supporting those facing grief, loss, and mortality. Join us in the important and meaningful event!

The ADEC Moving with Grief Challenge is a new fundraising event for supporting the public education, professional training, and outreach initiates of the Association for Death Education and Counseling. The Challenge motivates and empowers members and supporters of ADEC to walk, run, bike, swim, exercise, and simply move in support of all caregivers caring for those facing grief, loss, and mortalit

y. The Challenge isn't just about counting steps or burning calories though, it is also about uplifting the spirits of those immersed in the work of Palliative, End-of-Life, Death, and Bereavement Care. This is why every move that your make and every dollar that you raise matters.

Where in the world are you? – Minnesota

Past President Ben Wolfe is “moving with grief” as he trains for his 19th half-marathon! As always, he’s supported by his wonderful spouse Barry, who joins him on various treks.

Join the movement! The 2nd Annual "Moving with Grief" virtual fundraiser starts one week from today.

Susan Barrett, a friend of ADEC and funeral service professional from Paradise, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada was out on this cold, snowy weekend. Susan, her husband Colin and their furry family members were hiking as part of this year’s Moving with Grief Challenge.
