From the moment you arrived, we hope you felt welcomed, celebrated, and surrounded by people who truly care about our community. We loved seeing so many smiles throughout the day, especially when guests stopped by to take photos with some of the amazing characters who joined us! 🦸‍♂️🦸‍♀️👑

Spider-Man, Captain America, Superman, Supergirl, Anna, Elsa, Belle, Rapunzel and more helped make the day extra magical! ✨

💙 A HUGE THANK YOU TO OUR AMAZING VOLUNTEERS! 💙

Behind every successful event is a group of people working behind the scenes to make it all happen — and the 2026 Kosair Kares Abilities Fair was no exception!

We want to take a moment to give a heartfelt THANK YOU to every volunteer who gave their time, energy, and heart to help make our fair such a success. ❤️

From helping with setup and keeping things organized, to welcoming our vendors and guests, answering questions, directing people where they needed to go, and jumping in wherever they were needed — you helped keep everything moving and running smoothly!

Your willingness to serve, your smiles, your patience, and your dedication made such a difference. You helped create a welcoming environment where our vendors could focus on sharing their resources and our guests could focus on learning, connecting, and enjoying the day.

We truly could not have done this without you! 🙏💙

We tried our best to capture a photo of everyone throughout the day, but we're pretty sure we missed a few of you! 📸😂 That's just another sign that you were too busy helping to stop for a picture!

To every volunteer who showed up, pitched in, solved a problem, answered a question, carried something, directed someone, greeted a guest, helped a vendor, or simply asked, “What can I do?” — THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts!

The Kosair Kares Abilities Fair would not have been possible without the incredible 44 Community Resource Vendors who joined us and shared their time, knowledge, resources, and compassion with our community.

From the moment they arrived, our vendors were ready to connect with families, answer questions, share information, and help our guests discover resources available throughout Kentuckiana. Each booth represented an opportunity for someone to find a service, make a connection, or discover a resource that could make a difference in their family's life. 💙

We are so grateful for every organization, business, agency, and individual who took the time to be part of this special day. Thank you for believing in what we were trying to accomplish and for helping us create a welcoming place where families could learn, connect, and feel supported.

💙 **THANK YOU, KOSAIR KARES COMMUNITY!** 💙

From the bottom of our hearts, the **Kosair Shrine Divan, Our Ladies and Nobility** would like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who attended the **2026 Kosair Kares Abilities Fair** and helped make our first fair such a tremendous success!

We were honored to welcome **44 Community Resource Vendors**, who shared a wealth of knowledge, resources, and support with families from across Kentuckiana. Their dedication and willingness to connect with our guests made this event truly special.

And to the **nearly 200 guests** who joined us — THANK YOU! We hope you left with new connections, valuable resources, and maybe a few wonderful memories along the way. 💙

Our guests had the opportunity to:
✨ Discover resources to help navigate life with a loved one with special abilities
🦸‍♀️ Meet superhero and princess characters
🐾 Spend time with some sweet therapy dogs
🤡 Laugh and make memories with our own **Kosair Shrine Funsters** and **Laughing Ladies Clown Unit**
🎉 And enjoy so much more!

This event would not have been possible without the incredible support of our vendors, sponsors, volunteers, entertainers, families, guests, and everyone who helped spread the word. **Each and every one of you played a part in making this day so meaningful for our community.**

After months of planning, organizing, emailing, phone calls, vendor sign-ups, sponsor support, and ALL the little details… today is finally the day! ❤️

The Kosair Kares Abilities Fair is happening TODAY from 10 AM–2 PM at the Kosair Shrine!

✨ **FREE & OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!**
✨ Dozens of amazing organizations and service providers
✨ Resources for children and adults of all abilities
✨ Sensory room
✨ Door Prize Drawings beginning at **12 PM** (must be present to win!)
✨ Free hearing tests
✨ Kosair Shrine Funsters & Laughing Ladies Clowns
✨ Special Character Appearances
✨ And so much more!

Whether you're looking for resources, support, services, or simply want to come out and meet some wonderful people in our community, we would LOVE to see you!

❤️ A HUGE THANK YOU TO KOSAIR SHRINE! ❤️

As we get ready to welcome everyone to the Kosair Kares Abilities Fair, we want to take a moment to say a very special THANK YOU to Potentate Shawn Beasley and the Divan of Kosair Shriners for opening their doors and giving us the space to bring this event to life.

Because of their generosity, we are able to bring together 40+ organizations and service providers under one roof, creating a true *one-stop shop* where individuals with disabilities and their families can connect with valuable resources, ask questions, discover services, and meet people who are here to help. ❤️

We are so grateful to have the opportunity to use this beautiful space to serve our special needs community and hopefully make finding the right resources just a little easier.

And while we're talking about the incredible work happening at Kosair Shrine…

🎩 Are you a man who would like to make a difference in the lives of children throughout Kentuckiana and beyond?

If you've ever wondered what being a Shriner is all about, ask one of the men wearing a fez at the fair! They would be happy to tell you more about the Shrine, what they do, and how you can become part of an organization dedicated to making a difference in children's lives.
