Join us Friday, November 6, for an evening of gratitude, giving, and community as we celebrate the impact of the Park Community Foundation.

This yearโ€™s gala will recognize 12 small, grassroots nonprofits serving Kentucky and Southern Indiana with Pathways to Prosperity grants. Enjoy dinner, live music, live and silent auctions, and inspiring stories of community impact.

We started our day with hope and inspiration at the Kosair for Kids Bullitt County Community Impact Breakfast!

Kosair for Kids works to improve children's health and well-being through support for healthcare, education, research, social services, and child advocacy.

We heard from Jennifer and her son, Grayson, whose story reminds us why this work matters. After being born prematurely and later diagnosed with cerebral palsy, Grayson and his family faced significant medical and financial challenges. Thanks to support from Kosair for Kids, Grayson now has access to critical therapies and adaptive equipment.

Their story was a powerful reminder that the nonprofit sector changes lives and helps families access the care and resources their children need to thrive.

Investing in local leaders creates a ripple effect that reaches far beyond a single organization or community.

Last week, we attended the Brushy Fork Leadership Institute Leadership Gathering at Berea College, where more than 200 leaders from across Central Appalachia came together to learn, connect, and share ideas.

Through a Pathways to Prosperity grant from Park Community Credit Union Foundation, Brushy Fork Leadership Institute provided scholarships for local nonprofit leaders to attend the gathering.

One of the highlights was meeting scholarship recipient Tony Crachiolo of Berea Food Bank - BUURR - Frank Gailey Transient/Emergency Assistance Fund and learning more about the important work he and other local leaders are doing to strengthen communities throughout the region.
