Meet baby Grayson. ❤️ Born early at 33 weeks, Grayson needed immediate surgery and specialized care due to a rare condition in his esophagus and trachea. That care was 154 miles from home.

For nearly a month while Grayson was in the NICU at Norton Childrenʼs Hospital, his parents, Paige and Jordan, were just steps away at Ronald McDonald House® Louisville.

“Being at Ronald McDonald House allowed us to be with Grayson in the NICU as much as possible,” Paige says. “It was the biggest blessing to us on our journey.”

As school starts, we’re reflecting on some of our favorite moments from this summer, including a few extra-special visitors in the office!

During National Pet Week, our staff had the opportunity to bring their beloved pets to our House for the day. Between wagging tails, desk-side visits, and plenty of cuddles, these furry coworkers kept us smiling throughout the week.

Supporting families takes a caring team, and moments like these helps bring a little extra joy to the workday and strengthen connections among our staff. We loved welcoming these honorary team members to the office and making some paw-sitively fun memories together! 🐾❤️

Ice cream, bubbles, and plenty of smiles made for a sweet afternoon at Ronald McDonald House Louisville!🍦☀️🫧

Our friends at Surreal Creme brought their ice cream truck by our House to provide treats for our families, giving everyone a chance to gather outside, choose their favorite ice cream, and enjoy some fun together.

When a child is receiving medical care, moments like this can mean so much. They offer families a chance to take a break from appointments and long days at the hospital, spend time together, and make joyful memories along the way. Most importantly, they give kids the chance to simply be kids.
