✊🏾 Black August may be coming to a close, but our work continues.

Today marks the last day of Black August—a time to reflect on Black history, resilience, resistance, liberation, and the power of collective action. As we close out the month, we’re carrying that spirit forward with the African American Heritage Foundation’s Road to 35!

📖 Have you checked out our Kick-Off Event Report?

Take a look back at the conversations, ideas, community voices, and energy that are helping shape our journey toward AAHF’s 35th Anniversary in 2029.

And we want to hear from YOU! 🗣🏾

Whether you joined us at the kickoff or weren’t able to attend, your voice matters. Help us shape the future of AAHF by taking our community survey:

Let’s continue to honor where we’ve been, listen to where our community is today, and build where we’re going together.

Road to 35: Your Voice Matters! 🖤

As we begin our Road to 35, we want YOU to help shape the future of AAHF. Your feedback will directly inform our strategic planning process and help guide the work we do in our community for years to come.

Did you miss our Community Kickoff event? No worries! We still want to hear from you.

There are no right or wrong answers; just an opportunity to share your thoughts, ideas, hopes, and vision for the future of the African American Heritage Foundation.

Every voice matters. Every perspective counts.

🌟Earl Jones Earns National Honor!

For nearly 30 years, Earl Jones has been a dedicated supporter of and advocate for Louisville's Olmsted Park System.

The Olmsted Network honors Earl this fall with the Olmsted Stewardship Award to be presented at their national conference in Portland, Oregon.

As a champion of our Olmsted legacy, Earl has a deep understanding of the significance of Frederick Law Olmsted's vision and design principles. His tireless advocacy highlights the importance of each park to its surrounding neighborhood, and the value of Louisville's entire Olmsted Park System to the community.

We are so grateful for Earl's courageous voice, philanthropic commitment and profound impact. Please join us in congratulating Earl!
