Drive Thru Distribution
Waggener Families:

It was so great to see so many Wildcats today at our drive-thru distribution of materials!

Because the turnout was so impressive, we are reducing the drive-thru distribution hours on Monday, August 24th to between 12:00pm - 2:00pm. If you still need to visit campus (330 S. Hubbards Ln.) to receive requested technology or course specific materials, please do so on Monday adhering to the following grade level schedule:

12:00pm - 1:00pm 9th & 10th graders

1:00pm - 2:00pm 11th & 12th graders

We ask that you enter campus from Hubbards Ln. at the entrance closest to the football stadium and display your student’s name on a paper through the car window. Students and families must remain in vehicles at all times.

Make sure to bookmark the Waggener Union as your one-stop-shop for NTI and participate in our 2020-2021 Virtual Student Orientation prior to classes beginning on Tuesday, August 25th.

Have a great weekend!

I attended the drive thru distribution today and the process was so smooth! We appreciated the tshirt and water bottle!!
Waggener students are invited to campus (330 S. Hubbards Ln.) for a drive-thru distribution of student schedules, general supplies, materials needed for specific courses, and requested Chromebooks and/or hot spots. Drive-thru distribution will take place on Friday, August 21st and Monday, August 24th between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm. We ask families to choose either day that works in your schedule, but adhere to the following grade level schedule on your chosen day:
11:00am - 12:00pm 9th graders
12:00pm - 1:00pm 10th graders
1:00pm - 2:00pm 11th graders
2:00pm - 3:00pm 12 graders

We ask that you enter campus from Hubbards Ln. at the entrance closest to the football stadium and display your student’s name on a paper through the car window. Students and families must remain in vehicles at all times. Waggener staff will deliver your materials to your vehicle. Vehicles will be directed through pickup stations. Vehicles that do not need chromebooks or devices will utilize the middle lane to exit. Vehicles in need of devices will progress to the last station and exit accordingly.

If you are in need of a chromebook or hot spot, please ensure you have completed this Device Access Request. We will be distributing chromebooks and/or hot spots to students with approved requests.

Does your child's school provide free meals to all students (about 60% of KY schools do)? Then your child is eligible for this $313.50 P-EBT card! (this is not signing up for SNAP, this is a one time thing that is going to close August 31)

120,000 kids who are eligible have not signed up and NEED TO!

This is, as they say, money on the table. (Over $37 MILLION worth of money on the table) If you do not sign up, it goes away, wasted. Our economy NEEDS this money. Local grocers and farmers NEED this money. (You can use it at the Farmers Market!)

So even if you think your family doesn't need this assistance, we need you to apply if you are eligible.

FAQ: I do not need the extra money. Can I use it to buy someone else groceries or buy groceries and donate them to a food bank?

Answer: The money on the card must be spent on your student. But you can then spend the $313.50 extra that you now have in your budget groceries to give away or donate as you like.

I am a Kynector and can answer any questions you have. Please share this with other moms! Take this money off the table and put it in our economy!
