We are so excited to see everyone tonight! We will be having a raffle, movie showing, games with prizes and our traditional luminaria ceremony! We will have signs outside so everyone can navigate their way! The location is in the SAC east gym on University of Louisville’s campus! Doors open at 5:45!!

Please consider donating to our Relay For Life of the University of Louisville. The money raised is going to fund community programs, patient services, and cancer research. One program, Look Good Feel Better, helps women going through treatment to feel their best selves. Our Road to Recovery volunteers transport patients to and from treatments, and our Kentucky Hope Lodge offers free housing for those undergoing treatment as well as their caregivers.

If cancer has touched you or someone you care about and you want to do something about it, we need more activists to join or donate to the American Cancer Society through Relay For Life. The ACS is the world's leader in making progress in the fight against cancer.

Our Executive Board Spotlight this week goes to our Event Chair & Director, Charles Shofner. Charles is a Biology & Psychology Senior and when asked why he Relays says, "I relay so that one day the world will be free of cancer. I relay so that families, including mine, have more time to make memories with loved ones. Relay for Life to me is coming together as a community to support one another and instill hope that one day we will find cure. Relay for Life is more than an organization, it is a lifestyle. It is commitment to make a difference in this world and to come together to build a system of support and encouragement. Let’s work together to ‪ #‎FightBack."
