Our boy MoMo (brown) lost all 4 of hid cage mates, including his brother Linkyn (rip) before we took in Sassafras (black). The two bonded immediately and became fast friends. It's been almost a year and Sassy has been so wonderful and loving. Couldn't imagine not having our little marshmallow. ♡

Seal went to the vet this morning. He had a blocked gland that got expressed and 2 cysts that got drained. Poor guy got poked and prodded but he was a trooper and got extra treats! Now he's home, much more comfy and snoozing away. Huge thanks to All Pets Veterinary Center for always taking great care of our little fuzzbutts. ❤️

Our boarding calendar for spring/summer is filling up fast! First half of April, second half of May and most of June are already full. If you need boarding for your ferrets, please reach out ASAP with dates so we can get you on the schedule. =) In the fall months (roughly Sept - Dec) our boarding availability will be even more limited, just a heads up. ❤️

Miss Sassafras, aka Sassy, went to the vet office today for her annual checkup and distemper shot. She did amazing and got to sample a pup cup from Starbucks afterwards as a treat! ;) shout out to All Pets Veterinary Center for always taking such amazing care of our little ones. ♡

Last month, we said goodbye to our boy Linkyn. He was diagnosed with ocular cancer in December and we were blessed to have over 6 extra months with him where he wasn't in pain and was still able to play and enjoy life!

Then this morning we woke to find our girl Jai'lye had passed away sometime in the night from unknown causes. We are heartbroken but grateful she wasn't in pain and appears to have passed in her sleep. She came to us as terrified biter who would attack everyone. Dave refused to give up on her and the two formed a strong bond over the years. She become known as "Chicken Nugget" and learned to do tricks for treats and slowly learned to trust us over time. We are so incredibly proud to have gotten to love her and watch her grow and thrive. She lost three cagemates previously- Klaus, Ziggy, and Linkyn and I've no doubt she's happy to see them again. We will miss her dearly.

Got to spend some time last week and this week with the Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana letting them meet some of our ferrets, learn about their care, and have some fun introducing them to these fuzzy little noodles. A huge thank you to them for welcoming us and also to Cambria Milliner for always being on board to help out and even bring her ferrets along for the ride. Here she is with our boy Bear~ And the girls made the sweetest thank you cards!!
