Today, we attended the first business session of the DAV National Convention. It was inspiring to see veterans and advocates come together with one shared mission: helping veterans and their families receive the benefits they have earned.

DAV continues to fight for veterans by supporting important legislation and working with Congress to help pass bills that protect veterans’ rights, improve healthcare, and strengthen access to benefits and services. Together, we are making sure the voices of America’s veterans are heard! 🇺🇸

As we prepare to head to the DAV National Convention in Orlando, Florida, I’ve been reflecting on what an incredible year it has been for our chapter.

From coming together at Golden Corral to raise money for Camp Corral, to proudly receiving our 75-Year Chapter Plaque at the DAV State Convention in Lexington, Kentucky, this year has been filled with meaningful moments and reminders of why our mission matters.

For 75 years, our chapter has proudly served the Louisville community and the veterans who call it home. That legacy was built by generations of members who dedicated their time, hearts, and voices to ensuring veterans and their families receive the support, recognition, and benefits they deserve.

We are incredibly proud of where we have been, grateful for everyone who continues to support our mission, and excited for what lies ahead as we represent Louisville at this year’s National Convention in Orlando.

Here’s to 75 years of service, advocacy, fellowship, and dedication to our nation’s veterans—and to many more years to come! 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙
