The 2026-27 Arts Angle Newsroom welcomes Amy Ritchie as its new program assistant. Ritchie's deep background in education includes leading high school theater and writing projects and programs. As a teacher at duPont Manual High School over 17 years, she ⁠
• taught Oral Communication and Debate, Film Studies, Creative Writing and English⁠
• advised the student newspaper and student literary magazine⁠
• and participated with students in national conferences including those of the National Scholastic Press Association and the Columbia Scholastic Press Association.

Arts Angle participants have written reviews on PNC Broadway In Louisville productions since we started in 2018. The first musical was “Aladdin,” so popular we couldn’t accommodate everyone who wanted to be a part of it. Over the years, Arts Angle participants have attended a dozen touring Broadway productions for free before writing about them. They’ve had their work published with their bylines. Apply today.

We’re hiring a part-time contract program assistant for our growing Arts Angle Newsroom.

Arts Angle is seeking an experienced and energetic person with passion for mentoring young people (14-18) as well as for journalism and the arts. They have the ability to help Arts Angle Newsroom participants sharpen their reporting and storytelling skills, develop media literacy and work with its young leaders.

The Arts Angle Newsroom is so grateful to Gary White, MetroTV general manager. He shared so much about the work of this singular station funded and run by the city. He also hinted at his dynamic career. (We wished we had more time for that! P.S. Congratulations on the book!)
