Do you have a little crafter who wants to learn new ways to create? Join our Stitching for Kids class where your child can learn the basics of using a (blunt) needle, a skill that is both practical AND fun! This class is aimed for children ages 3-12, with the option to learn basic stitches in an abstract design, or to stitch on a simple pattern. A guardian must be present with their child for the entire duration of the class, all supplies are provided. $FREE.99 link at ltl.tools

Our first title will be “The Response: Building Collective Resilience in the Wake of Disasters (A Shareable Series).” We will be reading together out loud with no pressure for everyone to have to take a turn. The eBook is available through Shareable for free.

Learn how to use your sewing machine. We’ll cover how to thread it, wind & load bobbins, change the needle, how to adjust tension and stitch length, attachments, plus more! If you do not know what any of that means don’t worry, we’ll cover that too! You’ll have time to practice sewing using the different stitch settings. Your machine can be vintage or modern.

*Sewing machine & any pressor feet/attachments that came with the machine.
*Sewing machine manual
*2-3 Machine needles
*2-3 spools of thread
*About ½ yrd - 1 yd of scrap fabric
