🥃 New Tastes: Balboa Rye, New Riff Distilling 🥃

Using heirloom Balboa Rye grains (originally popular in the 1940s), this four-year BIB expression offers "shimmering notes of spiced fruit that set it apart from our flagship rye", according to the distilling team.

✨ Day 1 of did not disappoint! Our Mix & Mingle kicked off at Louisville’s stunning Last Refuge—a one-of-a-kind church-turned-community-center-turned-whiskey-haven. 🥃

We laughed, learned, and sipped our way through the evening thanks to the incredible pours from Heaven's Door, TINCUP Whiskey, and DeHart Whiskeys.

I even had the unique opportunity to raise a late glass with Bourbon Women state ambassadors from across the country and the team from New Riff Distilling—proof that bourbon truly brings people together. 🥂

Huge thanks to our host city and venues for setting the perfect stage for an unforgettable day and night of camaraderie. Here’s to more ahead—who’s ready for FriYAY?

Bourbon Women is a social organization founded by women for women. You don't have to be an expert on bourbon, just share the interest! We have events throughout the year where we will feature special guests such as master distillers, top chefs, bartenders and other experts.

Membership has its advantages as it includes early notices, significant discounts on event registration, discounts on products that we offer and special relationships with some great ladies! Membership is only $50.00 and lasts for one year. You will be notified when your anniversary is coming up and it's time to renew.

In addition to a slate of unique events and networking opportunities, Bourbon Women has donated financial proceeds to many non-profit organizations.
