Join us for a free human trafficking training opportunity (CEUs offered for a fee) that our team is offering through the KY Children's Justice Act grant.
The training, called the Forensic Resilience Training Academy (FRTA), is designed for Kentucky-based professionals who work with youth who have experienced human trafficking and/or are at high risk for experiencing human trafficking. This training is facilitated by Beatriz Vides, Co-Founder of Be the Change, LLC, and Dr. Jennifer Middleton, Director of the UofL Human Trafficking Research Initiative.
1. Mitigating Compassion Fatigue: Theory & Practice for Self-
Preservation and Team Care
2. Trauma-Informed Identification and Screening of Child Victims of Human Trafficking
3. Trauma-Informed Response and Trauma-Specific Services for Child
Victims of Human Trafficking
4. Working with Adolescent Victims in Cases of Youth-Produced Sexual Images (YPSI)
