At DYM BHSO, we provide trauma-informed therapeutic behavioral health and childcare services designed to support young children and families during their most important developmental years.

We proudly serve infants through preschool (6 weeks–5 years) through a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment, including Early Head Start programming. Our approach centers relationships, consistency, and understanding each child’s unique needs.

Perfect time to practice our emergency drills especially a Tornado drill. During the drills we direct the children; sing songs to calm the experience, bring our emergency bags and ipads; count our kids.

“Our families and kids were served dinner, and our parent curriculum was presented, “Ready Rosie Give Me Ten - Screen Time: Good or Bad? Yes!”. In this presentation, our families were encouraged to make a plan for lowering screen time in their homes and model educational use of screens!

Then the parents departed to their child’s individual classrooms and played an age-appropriate game with instructions for each room. These games also came from the Ready Rosie curriculum.

The infants' room was “Me in the Mirror”. The Toddlers completed “Pop Goes the Bubbles”.

We did a customized version of the “Big and Little” and “Color Toy/Match” activities for the 2’s.”

Due to the Inclement Weather, we are to experience and Governor Beshear we will be closed Thursday, April 3rd and possibly April 4th. Please stay safe and remember to review Tornado Preparedness.

Excited to announce we will reopen from the Inclement Weather storm on Wednesday, July 8th. The centers power is fine and heat is working. We have scheduled for the parking lot to have snow removed, January 7th. This allows time for the side streets in which our parents and staff live to have their streets cleared and our lot be cleared. Stay safe and warm.
