Our Clifton Heights community lost one of our own with the passing of Dolores. Neighborhoods are made special by the people who give their time, leadership, and heart to making them better places to live.

Dolores dedicated so much of herself to our neighborhood through her service to the Clifton Heights Community Council, including serving as both Treasurer and President. She helped shape and strengthen this community and was part of the reason Clifton Heights feels like home for so many people. She also spent many years as a devoted member of St. Leonard’s Parish.

Please keep Dolores’ family, friends, and loved ones in your thoughts during this difficult time. If you knew Dolores, please consider sharing a favorite memory or story so we can celebrate the lasting impact she had on our neighborhood and the people around her. ❤️

🚯 Illegal dumping along Mellwood Ave has become an eyesore for our neighborhood.

Trash is being left along the roadway and in the wooded areas, impacting the appearance, safety, and environment of Clifton Heights.

The good news: this can be reported quickly through Metro 311 — and reports from residents really do matter.

👉 How to report roadside litter:
1️⃣ Go to https://louisvilleky.gov/government/metro311

2️⃣ Click Request Services
3️⃣ Scroll to the very bottom and select Litter Concerns
4️⃣ Choose Roadside Litter and submit the location

If you see dumping or litter along Mellwood or elsewhere in Clifton Heights, please take a moment to report it. Small actions add up.
