I’m at a loss for words right now as I have learned that the ferret community is morning the loss of one of our own,
Lorri Grecco. The rainbow bridge is definitely busy greeting her. Fly high Lorri and watch over us all until we meet again.

Sephy’s Ferret Sanctuary remain operational but is NOT taking in any ferrets. I am working towards closing my doors due to financial and health concerns.

The Sanctuary lost a sweet soul Sunday morning. Chip is now free running with his friends at the rainbow bridge. I’ll miss you sweet boy.

The last few weeks have been hard at the sanctuary. We have had 4 ferrets pass on to the 🌈. I miss you Diago, Bindie, Reece & Tara.

The morning crew of 8 are out starting there morning out with soups and play time causing trouble LOL.

At this time we remain on COVID lockdown. We are not accepting surrenders at this time. We are not adopting or fostering out as well.

Sephy’s Ferret Sanctuary has had a really as week. We loss 2 of our senior boys this week, Juice and Elvis. They are loved and missed by so many.
This week has been very challenging for the Sanctuary. We almost had a house fire due to a incompetent LGE meter technician. Well their stupidity has caused us to loose power. Our electrician has replaced all the burnt wires but we are waiting on the inspector to come say “all is good” and turn the power back on. We are at day 5 with NO POWER and looking at 5 more days because it’s a holiday weekend!!
The Sanctuary is stressed because their momma always worries about them 😆. Special Angels have helped the Sanctuary with a generator, window AC unit, fans, Extension cords, bags of Ice and more.
We are all so stressed and exhausted from the last 5 days and we still have 5 more days to go. We will push thru it for we are so lucky that it wasn’t worse.

The babies said this quarantine has made them fat and lazy lol.
We remain on quarantine lockdown ☹️
I am a nurse and I have been out seeing patients everyday in my PPE. I worry so much about bringing COVID home to the ferrets. For if 1 got it all 23 would contract it and it would be fatal to them. The sad part is we haven’t seen the worse of it yet. At work we are already preparing to see a major spike in positive cases in the next 2 weeks.
So please understand that even thou business are opening back up doesn’t mean it’s safe for the sanctuary to open up due to my work that pays for the kibble.
