This is part of today's weather forecast from WHAS 11.
Thunderstorms could develop Saturday afternoon.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Today and into the weekend, expect a typical midsummer weather pattern across Kentuckiana with warm, humid afternoons and the chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms.

Today brings extra chances for storm coverage as activity will favor the development of more thunderstorms than yesterday.

A few slow-moving storms will develop during the heat of the day, bringing brief heavy downpours, gusty winds, and frequent lightning.

Last Saturday, June 6, was the starting day for the Germantown Farmers' Market. We weren't running at full force and the day unfolded more like a dress rehearsal.
All of the people who came to the market were most encouraging and enthusiastic about a farmers' market in their own backyard.

Tomorrow's market will have more vendors as we pick up our stride.

Hope you'll come out and see us.
