Once again we are back to pre-covid numbers. Yesterday we served over 100 families. We had just brought in the rest of our chairs from our other location and God filled them! We had a great day at the Urban Ministry Center - Louisville, KY cent'er's food pantry as 22 raised their hands to receive, by grace, Jesus as Lord and Savior. Afterward we took a load of lumber to our new Thrift Store (Urban Thrifts) location to begin renovations. If you'd like to be a part of a ministry that has longevity and has been reaching theLouisville Portland area for over 20 years, we'd love to have you join our team. We are on the move at The River. Tomorrow we will be meeting at 8601 Ambrosse Lane (40299). God is doing some amazing things and we are so excited. Tomorrow I'm sharing a message that I believe every believer needs to hear.... especially during this season. The River is a supernatural community that believe in the power and manifestations of the Holy Spirit. We are a Jesus Revolution Church - which means we are moving back towards the foundations of first church mindset and experience. We'd be very honored to have you come and join us... come and find out what God is doing at - THE RIVER.

Many years ago I got saved at a youth choir camp. My life was totally transformed but then I found out there was more. I visited a Spirit-Filled Baptist church and received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. My life went from nominal to phenomenal, not because of me but because of He who lives inside of me. Like the days of the Jesus Revolution, our culture needs a strong encounter from the Holy Spirit. During the Jesus Revolution, Lonnie Frisbee was used to lead a youth culture to a deeper relationship with the Lord through the Holy Spirit. Signs, wonders, miracles were such a huge part of the Gospel spreading world-wide. I believe that this time God is going to use a PASSIONATE community of believers to transform this nation. A community that is not afraid to preach the Gospel, a community that doesn't fear, like John the Baptist and Jesus himself, to call out the evil of a corrupt Government. An Ekklesia (a political term by the way) (community of believers or the church) who pray in tongues and live out the message of grace while they minister to the gender confused, the discarded, the marginalized and the deceived. We are going to see the church, the glorious church take an amazing position of influence in the coming days.... so if you've quit on the church, I implore you to reconsider your position. (forsake not the assembling of one another and even more as the day approaches.) Get ready and make sure you have plenty of oil (Holy Ghost)!

Great day at The Urban Ministry Center - Louisville, KY food pantry. Today we saw 10 raise their hands to receive Jesus. We served some amazing food boxes.... we were able to organize (thanks Flora Mullins - you are a huge blessing and very much appreciated). Brought in a few storage units. I also did another walk through of our future Thrift / clothing give a way facility. Good things are on their way. Yay God.

So many good things going on at Site 61 and the Urban Ministry Center - Louisville, KY. Last night we had about 30 show up to our Sunday evening Bible Study and Dinner. Today at the pantry we served 85 families. I shared a message about making sure your ready cause it's getting kinda crazy down here and 18 gave their hearts to Jesus. Today we have about 50% first timers. So excited to see what God does as we increase our facilities and outreach in the Portland neighborhood. We've been serving down her through our church services and compassion ministry for 20+ years. If you'd like to donate to what God is doing then go to www.theriverky.org
