So thankful for FCA character coaches that pour into the lives of our athletes. Ashleigh has done a fantastic job with sharing God’s word and having fun with the team as well. These memories along with the seeds planted will last a lifetime!

Renee, Thank you for bringing the Word of God today at North Bullitt! What an incredible talk about what it looks like to be rooted in Jesus. He shared a number of illustrations. Use some marble pop culture to get the kids attention with a Thanos glove about how Thanos could snap his finger and have whatever he wanted. He shared with us that in Christ we can have a world where we are rooted in Him in order to be those who lift others up around us who are hurting.

Today is the annual See You At The Pole. Across the country students gather around the flag pole to pray for their nation, their state, their county, and their schools.

To pray is to accept that we are, and always will be, wholly dependent on God for everything.” —Tim Keller

We are excited to welcome Gretta Gunn as the new FCA Character Coach for Holy Cross Girls Soccer!

Gretta played soccer at Eastern Kentucky University and is excited to use her experience to encourage and invest in these student-athletes both on and off the field.

Thank you to the Holy Cross coaching staff for welcoming Gretta and allowing FCA to be part of the program!

Last Friday night Bullitt East FCA partnered with North Bullitt FCA for a tailgate and corn hole tournament before the rivalry football game! It was HOT, tons of fun, we had way too much pizza but most importantly it was a great way to show how we can be rivals on the field but ONE TEAM for Jesus.

Bullitt Central had their first FCA huddle of the school year. The student leaders introduced themselves, shared their favorite Bible verse, and played a game as a group. Lots of fun and laughter for the morning!

What an incredible start to the year for Lassiter FCA!

Today, 80 students packed the library for their first FCA meeting of the school year. Eighth grader Carolina Greene stepped up to lead the opening devotion and share her faith with her classmates!

We love seeing students lead and encourage one another. We’re excited to see all that God has in store for Lassiter FCA this year!

Thankful for both of these youth pastors for volunteering their time to pour into the football and cross country teams at North Bullitt High School as their FCA Character Coach. Both teams have coaches that want to see their athletes grow in their sport and in their faith by having this as an option during their season.

FCA engages, equips, and empowers student athletes to be bold in their faith and share it with others. Two Bullitt East female athletes and FCA student leaders, Nora and Ava, are doing just that by serving as the character coach for MWMS girls basketball. It’s great seeing them encourage the younger athletes in their faith.
