💜 Volunteer Spotlight 💜

This year, as part of her Senior Service Project at Holy Cross, Izzy A. helped share the joy of reading with young students in our community. 📚✨

This spring she had the opportunity to read to kindergarteners at Greenwood Elementary where each child also received a book of their own. Izzy said, “seeing the children's eyes light up and be grateful was life changing. Thank you for sponsoring the books and allowing me to help make a change!”

Izzy also recently graduated! 🎓 Congratulations on this exciting milestone, and thank you for helping spread a love of reading to the next generation. We can’t wait to see what comes next for you. 💜📚

✨ Book of the Month ✨

This month, we’re featuring a favorite from our recent book fairs — the Dog Man series by Dav Pilkey! 🐶📚

Packed with humor, adventure, and lovable characters, Dog Man keeps kids laughing while building confidence and excitement around reading. These graphic novels are especially popular with young readers who enjoy fast-paced stories and silly fun. 💜

Whether it’s their first Dog Man book or their tenth, we love seeing kids light up when they find one at our book fairs!
