The Pin-Up Girls opens this weekend so it's time for director introductions!! First we have our talented music director, Mr. T!! We mean Tyler W. Jewell!
Tyler W. Jewell (he/him) is a recent Louisville transplant from the city of St. Louis. An educator by trade, Tyler studied saxophone and guitar at McKendree University, graduating with a degree in Music Education (K-12) with a minor focus in Theatre. He has spent the better part of the last decade working with students, leading music programs, and directing a variety of instrumental and choral ensembles in the public school system. As a music director and multi-instrumentalist, Tyler has been blessed to work on shows such as Legally Blonde, Les Miserables, Shrek, The Little Mermaid, and The Lightning Thief, amongst others. Tyler would like to thank his parents, Dana Aronin, and Scott Cant, for their continued support in his educational and artistic career, and he is sincerely thankful to the cast and crew for their kindness, empathy, work ethic, and personal dedication to the arts.
