As we kick off Spin for Steven Week, we’re excited to announce a full lineup of events!

Starting Tuesday, April 7th, we’ll have Pie-A-PIKE at the SAC Plaza from 11am–3pm come out and get your shot!

Wednesday, April 8th, join us for our PIKE Car Wash at 315 M Street from 2pm–6pm.

Thursday, April 9th, support us all day at El Tarasco, just mention Spin for Steven when you check out!

And finally, Saturday, April 11th, is our main Spin for Steven Event at the SRC Field from 12pm–3pm.

Come have fun while continuing to help us spread Steven’s legacy and raise awareness for sarcoma!🎗️💛

Brother Joseph Stillwell from the Beta Eta class shares his why, shaped by watching his mom battle cancer firsthand. It’s not something he heard about it’s something he lived. The long days, the uncertainty, the strength it takes… it changes you.

As we approach the final two weeks leading up to Spin for Steven, it’s important to reflect on the reason we come together each year: to honor and carry forward Steven Vanover’s legacy.

Steven walked the same halls at the University of Louisville as many of us—a Speed School graduate, a dedicated member of the Greek community, a passionate Louisville Cardinals fan, a guitarist, and a devoted brother. He was someone who consistently chose optimism, even in the face of circumstances that would have made it easy not to.

Since 2016, Spin for Steven has donated over $400,000 to the Steven Vanover Foundation. Just as meaningful, more than 5,500 individuals have attended these events—people who now know Steven’s name, understand his story, and help carry his legacy forward.

We are deeply grateful to every donor and participant who has supported this mission over the past decade. With your continued support, we will continue expanding Steven’s impact, raising awareness for sarcoma, and ensuring his story reaches communities across the country.

While countless individuals are facing serious and life-altering challenges, including battles with cancer, the ability to move freely is a privilege. Through Spin for Steven, each movement becomes more than an action, it becomes a symbol of awareness, gratitude, and purpose, honoring those who are fighting battles far greater and reminding us all not to take a single moment for granted. 💙💛

This past weekend was a historic year for our annual Spin for Steven event. we raised $80,045.25 at the time of the reveal, and have totaled at $83,287.50 since then for the and our sarcoma spotlights. We are so proud to say this was most money raised in the history of our event!

To all those who donated, registered, or supported us in anyway, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your support is the lifeblood of our work, and working so that no one may suffer from sarcoma ever again.

A special thank you to for hosting our event, for your amazing support, for your distinct contributions, for being our top supporting organizations, and for the amazing show-out.
