This is from the Boulder JCC. Thanks!!

We are having a distribution event at the Boulder JCC this weekend with items collected by Joyful Journeys. The event is open to folks impacted by the Marshall Fire and anyone in need. There will be new or almost new clothing, household items, furniture, hygiene and cleaning items. Our doors are open as a spot for neighbors and friends to reconnect.

That time has come...our LAST DAY to be open to the public will be on Thursday, March 31. What started as a donation distribution store for those affected by the Marshall Fires turned into so much more...a place to tell your story, to get a hug, to receive a bowl of soup for your soul, to cry in a safe space, to meet new friends, to see all the goodness in our world and for the volunteers, a place to contribute, to love, to give hugs, to listen, to shed tears, and so much more! 💕 To all those who donated, we couldn't have had a FREE store for 3 months without your generosity! THANK YOU!🙏

Donations will be accepted at the Marshall Fire Free Store (375 McCaslin Blvd) until Thurs March 24. Special guest, Jennifer Gurney, will be back to host an Art Day on Wed March 30 from 3:00-6:00pm.

Current NEEDS:
· Spring clothing: gently-used, like-new, especially MEN's!🌼
· We always LOVE plant donations🌿
· NEW sets of bed sheets, towels, dishes, pots & pans, silverware
· NEW small houseware items like garbage cans, lamps, toasters, crockpots, toaster ovens, teapots

CLOSE-OUT "Sale": We will clear our inventory in the store on Fri/Sat March 25/26 & Wed/Thurs March 30/31. For those affected by the fires, please come by and continue to take what you need!

If we have any inventory left over after March 31, we will invite representatives of local charities to reach out to us via DM to arrange a pick-up day/time to select any remaining inventory.

Finally, we will gather to celebrate the generosity of our community and volunteers at a date/time/location TBD. Stay tuned after Spring Break for more info!

This is from Andrea Burolla Golod

NOTE: We cannot take these donations at the store. Please contact Andrea directly to donate. Thanks!!

I'm creating an art studio that will be used very soon for free Art Therapy sessions for anyone experiencing trauma from the Marshall Fires.
I am the Chair of the Town of Superior Cultural Arts and Public Spaces Advisory Committee (CAPS). We are working with two licensed art therapists to develop the program (one is even a Louisville resident!). We just got all our approvals to move ahead yesterday and we're partnering with the Superior Chamber of Commerce to facilitate this program. Our awesome therapists want to start sessions next week, so I need to kick it into high gear!
Information about the Art Therapy program will be out soon but first I need some items for the studio to make it happen.
Specifically, I'm looking for:
- Floor lamps
- Tables -2 large (big enough for 5-6 people each)
- 9 chairs
- Bins for art supplies
- Spring loaded curtain rod 5' wide
If you have any ability to help or have any items you'd like to donate we'd be so appreciative. We are also working on creating a supply wishlist on Amazon as well. And if you have questions about the Art Therapy sessions please contact me! Thank you so much for your consideration.

New Hours! As we are a volunteer run organization, reducing our hours helps us keep the store open longer.

Snow is on the ground but winter is on its way out! (Or so we hope 😊)

We will be transitioning our stock from winter clothing to spring clothing in the coming week or so. If you are still in need of winter clothing, come on in and get it while it’s still here!

And if you’re interested in donating, we will be looking for new or clean and gently used spring clothing going forward. As always, Our store needs change frequently so what we can accept is at the discretion of the volunteers at the store that day.

Thanks!
