Elevate Dance Ministry Elevate Dance Ministry is a Christian dance organization serving families through classes, camps, clinics and creative programs.

We provide faith based movement resources and tools for churches and ministries. ELEVATE DANCE MINISTRY is dedicated to sharing the love of Christ to others through dance. Our goal is to provide dance instruction with excellence while facilitating discipleship and meaningful relationships with our students. We then use dance as a storytelling tool to encourage, uplift and share Biblical truths with others through outreach. Our instructors have decades of experience in both dance and ministry and are passionate about combining them to create a powerful vehicle for sharing the Gospel of Christ! We would love to have you join us in our mission to reach others with the love of God through dance! Contact us to let us know if you would like to join our classes, have us dance at an event or ask us any questions.

Finding Peace in God

It’s easy to let our minds fill with questions: Did I do enough? What if I mess up? What will people think?

David understood what it felt like to live under pressure. In Psalm 4, instead of allowing fear and worry to take over, he turned to God.

David reminds us that lasting joy isn’t found in success, recognition, or having everything go our way. Our greatest joy comes from knowing that we belong to God.

And because we belong to Him, we don’t have to carry every worry ourselves. We can bring our fears, disappointments, and burdens to God and rest knowing He is in control.

When we trust God with what we’re carrying, we can rest in His peace.

Haven’t made your Give for Good gift to Elevate yet? Tonight could be the perfect time!

From 7:15–7:17 p.m., six online donations made during the Greatest Two Minutes in Giving will be randomly selected to receive an additional boost for their organization:

✨ 1 gift will unlock $20,000
✨ 2 gifts will unlock $10,000 each
✨ 3 gifts will unlock $5,000 each

That means your gift to Elevate during these TWO minutes could turn into thousands more for the students and families we serve.

Set your alarm for 7:15 p.m. and be ready to give!

Give for Good…but make it acting on a Friday night.

Because sometimes “behind the scenes” looks a little like this.

We love seeing our students learn, create, build friendships, and have a whole lot of fun along the way.

This is Elevate, too. 💙

It’s Morning Rush!

Give for Good Louisville is HERE, and this morning your gift to Elevate could make an even bigger impact!

From 8–10 a.m., the organization in our tier with the most online donors will receive an additional $1,000!

That means every donor matters. Whether you give $5, $25, $80 or more, your gift helps us continue investing in students through Christ-centered arts education and it helps us compete for an extra $1,000 this morning.

Help us make the most of Morning Rush!

Give to Elevate between 8–10 a.m. using the link in our bio.

And tune in around 9:10 a.m. to see Elevate featured on the Give for Good livestream!

What does the impact of Elevate look like years later? Meet Lydia.

Lydia came to Elevate at 15 years old during a season when she was searching for something more. She loved dance and wanted to continue growing in her skill, but she also wanted a place where her faith didn’t have to be separated from something she loved.

At Elevate, she found that place.

Three classes a week meant three opportunities to dance, but also three opportunities to hear biblical truth, pray, build friendships, and be reminded of who God created her to be.

And her story didn’t stop when she was no longer a student.

Lydia traveled with Elevate on mission trips to Belize, served through outreach at Hope Place, and eventually became an Elevate teacher herself, pouring into another generation of students the same way others had poured into her.

Years later, when Lydia became a mom and her family walked through an uncertain season with her daughter, the Elevate community was still there. Students and teachers stopped to pray for their family and continued walking alongside them.

Student. Teacher. Mom. And still part of the Elevate family.

Lydia said it beautifully:

“You know when you find a treasure and you really want to tell everybody about it? Elevate is that kind of place for me.”

Tomorrow is Give for Good Louisville.

Your gift helps us continue creating a place where the next Lydia can walk through our doors, be known and loved, grow in her faith and gifts, and one day pour into someone else.

Join us tomorrow, September 10, as we invest in the next generation.

What happens before our dancers ever step into rehearsal?

A lot of planning, prayer, creativity, collaboration…and sometimes figuring out whether the choreography in our heads actually works in real life.

Our teachers spend hours choosing music, developing choreography, planning formations, studying the story, and thinking intentionally about how each piece can help communicate the message behind Miriam’s Song.

These are the moments most people never see, but they’re an important part of creating meaningful opportunities for our students to grow, worship, and tell God’s story through the arts.

We’re so thankful for teachers who pour so much into our students both inside and outside the classroom.
