HWBSDF is on a permanent hiatus unless a new volunteer coordinator is found. I’m stepping away to tend to family and personal matters.

If you know anyone who would like to take over and get this chapter going like it should, let me know.

Super excited to let everyone know we will be getting back to our Solidarity Medicine Making and more educational events, soon, and I’m hoping some clinic events, too. Thanks to a friend, I have secured a consistent space to be able to do the workshops. We are still discussing clinics.

Plant Ally Study Group meets July 6 1-3pm at Iroquois Library. Members will share their research on lemon balm, marshmallow, and yarrow with discussion about good vs bad information, best practices with research, and creating your own Materia Medica.

We are in need of community and I’m ready and determined to support it. Like or comment to let me know you’re still interested in . I’m wanting to put a plan together, but I cannot do this by myself.
Recently I created some kits that I’m passing to out as I see people who need them. HMU if you want to join this community.

Hi. Yeah been a while. Again. Life has consistently thrown curve balls at me and a few hit! But I’m back at it again.

Anywho.

I have used up my stock of nasal inhalers and lip balm containers preparing items for distribution during this cold snap. If you would like to support this cause, and help me get the ball rolling one more time, I could use these two items. I have plenty of other containers and supplies.

Be on the look out for more info here soon.

If you want to donate the above, or know of places I can set up herbal stations, self serve or manned, like food pantries, shelters (smaller for now) etc. or host free clinics, please let me know by sending an email to [email protected].

My heart breaks for our community. As a group, we are not yet organized for emergency relief, but if any herbalist or holistic provider out there is organizing to help our community grieve, please reach out. We have access to herbs and more that can help through our local community apotheka and our home office.
Also, I think this summer will be a good time to start preparing for such events. With all the weather disasters happening across the state, and these types of emergencies, it is time. Please reach out if you or others already organize such throughout the state. We need to work together. I’m afraid these are the last of the emergencies we will be dealing with.
Please send healing energy to all affected in today’s horrible tragedy.
