Hi Ladies!

Most shooters have dealt with shot anticipation. The result of anticipating your shot can be frustrating. Your shot groups might be ok, or even great, but they're low on the target. You are hitting below where you were aiming. At our January meeting we'll discuss what causes shot anticipation and how to correct it.

Make plans to be with us on Sunday, January 26, 2025. The meeting starts at 2:00 pm in the classroom at 29 Secession Lane, Louisburg, NC. Range time follows at 3:00 pm.

Hi Ladies,

Please join us on Sunday, December 15th for our monthly chapter meeting. Remember, this month we moved our meeting to the third Sunday to accomodate the week of Christmas.

You've heard us say it again and again: You can really improve your shooting skills with dry-fire practice. At our December meeting we'll discuss the advantages of dry-firing, different dry-fire drills, and what items you need to practice those drills. If you commit to dry-firing consistently and correctly, you WILL see an improvement in your gun handling and shooting skills.

Make plans to be with us on December 15th to learn more about dry-firing. The meeting starts at 2:00 pm in the classroom at 29 Secession Lane, Louisburg, NC. Range time begins at 3:00 pm.

Hi Ladies,

We hope you can join us this Sunday for our November 24th chapter meeting!

Our topic this month is Shooting in Low Light Conditions. This is one of the topics you asked to be covered this year.

With the time change you have certainly noticed how much faster the day ends and the night begins. We are entering the shortest daylight period of the year and that brings challenges when it comes to our safety. We will discuss target recognition, gun handling, vision perception, etc.

Our meeting starts at 2:00 pm in the classroom at 29 Secession Lane, Louisburg, NC. On the range we will simulate a low light environment to challenge our marksmanship skills!

Hi Ladies,

One of the things that can determine the performance of a firearm is the ammunition that is used in it. It is important to use ammunition that is compatible, reliable and manufactured to the correct pressure for your firearm. Failure to do this can result in your firearm not firing, or injury to you. There's also a common mistake a lot of people make regarding the type of ammunition they carry in their defensive firearm. If this mistake isn't corrected, it can have unfortunate consequences for the shooter and others. We'll discuss all this information and more on Sunday, October 27th. Our meeting starts at 2:00 pm in the classroom at 29 Secession Lane, Louisburg, NC. On the range we'll have a fun drill for you to practice!
