Giving Tuesday is December 2, 2025! Perry’s School is coming back to life, and this Giving Tuesday we are asking for your help to reach our next major milestone. The bathrooms inside the historic Perry's School need complete plumbing repairs, costing $25,000. These repairs are essential before we can safely host programs, events, and gatherings indoors.

Even without a finished building, the grounds of Perry’s School have already been a blessing to the community through food drives and outdoor events. Imagine what will be possible once the doors can finally open again.

Perry’s School is hosting its 1st Annual “Vintage Wheels” Car Show, and it’s more than just chrome and engines. It’s a celebration of community, craftsmanship, and connection.

Come spend your Saturday, October 25th surrounded by classic cars, good food, and great people, all while helping preserve one of Centerville’s most treasured landmarks. Proceeds will directly support the Perry’s School Community Center restoration project, turning this historic site into a vibrant hub for youth, seniors, and families.

💛 Restoration in Progress: Let’s Finish the Job! 💛
Tomorrow, December 3, 2024, is Giving Tuesday! We have BIG news to celebrate this Giving Tuesday! Thanks to a $10,000 grant and your generous donations, we started repairing the roof of Perry’s School in November 2024.

Now, we need YOUR help to continue the journey. We’re raising $5,000 the begin the process of mold removal, replacing sheetrock, and painting—essential steps in making Perry’s School safe and beautiful again. Perry's School’s mission is to honor its legacy by providing a safe and supportive space for individuals and families in Franklin County, NC, to connect with the past, engage in educational and cultural activities, and access resources that strengthen community ties and promote lifelong learning.

Every dollar makes a difference in Phase 1 of our renovation plans:
🎨 A gift of $25 buys paint supplies for one wall.
🔨 A gift of $100 helps with replacing sheetrock.
✨ A gift of $500 makes a major impact on mold removal efforts.
