URGENT NOTICE!! PLEASE READ AND PLEASE SHARE!! WE TRULY THANK YOU!

The Open Arms Animal Shelter is currently in a situation where we have been trying to operate on donations and adoptions. Since we haven’t been able to vet the animals because of the vet bill, we have been unable to do many adoptions and sustain and operate the shelter and help the many cats and kittens in our care. We will not be able to continue without help and donations from the community. THIS IS A CRITICAL SITUATION! We are full of cats and kittens who can’t receive the vetting they need to move on to a new life!

Please help if you can! We received zero donations from our recent posts. We realize people are struggling and we are no different. First time we have ever asked for help and received none. We will have to close if we don’t get some help. Adoptions are at a standstill until we do and therefore, we have little money to operate on.

Donations can be made to PayPal.com at address [email protected], mailed to PO Box 1331, Louisa KY or dropped off at shelter on Isaac Park Road Mon-Fri 8-12.

MORE HAPPY ADOPTION NEWS FROM Petsmart in Ashland, KY—-

Over the past month the Lawrence County KY Humane Society/Open Arms Shelter was blessed with more adoptions for our amazing kitties!! These wonderful kitties found their forever homes and we couldn't be happier: LUCY, ZORRO, BOBBY JEAN, LUCKY, SNUGGLES, MAX, BLACKIE, and DESI !! Thanks so much for the help we receive from our friends at PetSmart!!! Thank you!!!

June is ADOPT A SHELTER CAT MONTH!!! Please help the Lawrence County KY Humane Society/Open Arms Shelter spread the word abt all the wonderful kitties we have AVAIL FOR ADOPTION. These are just a few....there are many more who need loving forever homes right away.
