Twelve Days of Christmas, Inc. is celebrating our day of incorporation, April 12, 2001.

Founded in 1999 by Gayla and Donya Gardner in Houston, Tx, we are 27 years and still going strong.

Across nine local chapters, our mission is to ensure the magic of the holidays doesn’t end when the decorations come down.

What started as a vision has grown into a national organization with deep local impact, dedicated to inspiring young girls and boys.

As we celebrate our 25th anniversary of incorporation, we aren’t just looking back at how far we’ve come—we’re looking forward to how much further we can go.

Sweet Jazz is more than a concert—it is a mission-driven effort that has provided scholarships to deserving students, supported music education, and partnered with nonprofits serving our region.

The is proud to announce our 2026-28 National Vice Chair elect Dr Michelle Hector from our Chapter. 🎄🎁

Michelle has been a 12 Days member of the Oakland Chapter for over 15 years where serves on the executive board as treasurer and VP for 8 years.

She is an executive coach and Professor specializing in leadership and finance. However, her greatest accomplishment is being a mother to 2 beautiful daughters. We are elated for her to share in the mission momentum building of our organization.

Valerie is a member of our Chapter! She has been a part of the Twelve Days of Christmas, Inc. Houston Chapter for 4 years - currently serving on the Houston Chapter Executive Board for 2 terms as Recording Secretary. Valerie is also a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.

is proud to announce our 2026-28 National Treasurer Marquel Forbes. A member of the Chapter, Marquel is an entrepreneur of ten years with a twenty five year background in accounting and finance. She owns an insurance agency, works as a professional headshot photographer, and lives in South Riding with her husband of twenty nine years, while their daughter resides in New York.

Adriane is a resident of Baltimore city, wife and mom of Marley who resides in Brooklyn, NY and is a fellow Twelve Days hostess. Adriane, a Health Benefits Consultant is a Class of 1989 Spelman alumna, proud 38 year member of Delta Sigma Theta, board member of Women United of Central Maryland and SIS Circles, Inc. and avid concertgoer and museum  enthusiast. Adriane capital “H” hates to pack and unpack but jumps on planes every chance she gets! We look forward to her leading our organization and continuing the mission of philanthropy for children.
