Our 7th grade English and History classes teamed up for an exciting cross-curricular project! Students created an original character from an ancient civilization and brought them to life by writing a historical document and designing an artifact to represent their story.

To wrap up the project, students shared their characters with classmates and transformed the classroom into a Living Museum experience!

We love seeing students connect learning across subjects and use creativity, critical thinking, and historical understanding in meaningful ways.

This Memorial Day, Benjamin Franklin Academy proudly honors the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country and our freedom.

As we gather with family and friends this weekend, we remember those who served with courage, dedication, and selflessness. Their sacrifice reminds us of the importance of gratitude, service, and community — values we strive to instill in our students every day at Benjamin Franklin Academy.

We have been having so much fun with Spirit Week! 🎉

Yesterday's theme was Crazy Hat Day or Rhyme Without Reason, and our students definitely got creative! We saw some amazing combinations including Napper & Rapper, Box & Socks, and even Chad, Dad, Bad & Plaid! 😄

Today’s class competition focused on teamwork, communication, and problem-solving with our challenge: “Stepping Stones to Tarp Flip.”

Each class had to work together using only paper plates to travel from the starting point to their tarp—without touching the ground! If anyone stepped off, the whole team had to freeze for a 10-second penalty. Once everyone reached the tarp, teams had one final challenge: flip the tarp while standing on it without touching the ground!

It wasn’t just about being first—it was about working together and finishing strong to earn points for your class. We loved seeing students encourage one another, strategize, and have fun along the way!
